Dennis Edwards, is by far, one of the greatest lead singers the Temptations have had. Although David laid the foundation for which the Tempts were built; it was Dennis who was responsible for the Tempts garnering their first grammy. Dennis is not recognized enough. He should be given his props while he is still here. We claim we love Dennis, but we very rarely give him his just due. This board was designed for all who love Dennis and wish him continue success in his endeavors. So feel free to blow this board up!

Hey Mz. CP! What's up? Hey, I definitely agree with you. Dennis is really under-appreciated by Tempts fans. But all of that is changing now! Yippee for Dennis! . Say, whatever happened to Dennis' first solo LP on Motown? I wonder if the company will ever consider releasing it?

I don't have any idea what happened to that album. Motown really should release it. Instead of re-releasing that same old shyt. They should 'try something new' It would definitely sell more cds...but they keep dishing out the same old shyt with a different photo on the cover. I think they just want us to buy the picture.

Yeah, that seems to be the case! It seems that Motown loves to keep rehashing the same CD's to keep $$$$$ flowin. I think they used different pics to lure people to buy it. It basically sucks, I say.

(((Dennis Edwards))) definitely deserves his props. He earned the Temptations their first grammy. I think that alone says something about his vocal ability. I wish that people would stop downing him to uplift Otis and his group. They are both good groups. If people want to get technical, the REAL TEMPS are deceased, with the exception of Otis Williams in the original lineup. But Dennis deserves RESPECT too. It would be a different thing, if he couldn't sing -- But DENNIS will blow yo socks off! So he is not doing Otis' lineup and injustice, he definitely handles that "TEMPTATIONS" trademark (in whatever tense he's using it in - past, i.e. revue - whatevah). I mean, Ron Tyson and Bo nem could take a few pointers from Dennis. Especially phrasing wise. Bo has a tendency to overdue the moaning and groaning... Dennis know how much of this to give and how much to hold back. To be a singer, you have to know these things... I've seen both groups and they are good. But Dennis lights the FIRE up under yo azz! When you leave his show -- you know you been to a LIVE stage show!

Aaliyah - now that I re-read my post, I do see where I said Ron Tyson. I did not mean to put Ron's name there, but someone had told me to look at the tour schedule at ron's website and I had just left from his website. I did not mean Ron Tyson. I meant Bo and only Bo. Bo is good but he does moan and groan at times too much. Ron Tyson is a tenor/falsetto -- a different key altogether! That is what I meant, so don't get bent out of shape, it's all about the music for me and BELIEVE me not a dayum thing else! I only viewed Ron's tour schedule because one of Otis' followers told me that they would be performing with the WHISPERS and the OJAYS and it is not on the WHISPERS tour schedule. That is the only reason I went to ron's website to check on the groups that I do support (The WHISPERS and the OJAYS) who happen to be on the tour this year with Otis' lineup. I do not follow Otis' lineup. Ahite I'm out. (((CP))I had to rename myself Jill b'cos my password or something is missing or maybe somebody messed with it b'cos they got mad by my comments -- I don't know STRANGER stuff has happened! LOL!

I have went to see both sets of temptations Otas and Dennis and think DennisEdwards an the temptations review are by far the best sounding of the two. you no that with all the men that have been lead singers for the Temptations that there are just Dennis that keeps the old songs alive today. David and Eddie along with Paul an Melvin would all be singing with Dennis today if they were still here. I no they are smileing down on him today saying go man keep our music alive. god bless Dennis Mike Ben Chris an last but not lest David Sea. your my Temptations and allways will be Much love Debbie

reviewfan! It is a pleasure to have you here. Please feel free to join us often. I agree, it is Dennis who keeps the legacay of The Temptations alive. He is still able to perform in his grand style and also has four very capable men with him to pay tribute to David, Eddie, Paul and Melvin.
