Wow its hard to beleive that Ali Woodson could possibly sound bad even in his sleep!!!. Someone else posted about this exact show Aug. 30th on another board and they said that he sounded great. Guess everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

All entertainers may have an off day. And we are all just humans. Ollie Woodson is still a great performer and certainly one of the best voices from The Temptations various lineups. Each of these men in the Temptations spotlight had different styles and thus cannot be compared. No one copied no one. No one can be Eddie Kendricks or David Ruffin, and no one has tried to be. It is a blessing to us that we still have some of these men like Dennis Edwards and Ollie Woodson to entertain us. As Tony Turner said in a recent interview, "the remaining Temptatios are international legends in thier golden years, keepers of the flame. As we enjoy them let us rejoice for the idols of our youth. We where all blessed to be a part of music history known as the "Motown Sound " that will not soon be forgotten".

Please remove the disrespectul post re Mr. Woodson. - He was an awesome talent. -- Love to see the poster get up and sing (actually would "hate" to see that..the poster probably can sing as well as he can spell..poorly). -- Sometimes a singer has to sing, even when ill, to honor a contract. -- The other comments relative to wives and girlfriends are disrespectful, probably a lie, and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and close friends.

Ali Ollie Woodson was an awesome talent and I had the privilege of getting to know him really well. He was a great guy and I together with my husband, spent some magical times with him. He will be greatly missed as a person and as an amazing singer. So my comment on that very disrespectful review is that I hope now that following his passing whoever wrote it realises just how ill he was and that it took an awful lot of courage not to let his fans down on that night - but then that was just the type of guy he was.

:'(We will all miss this great singer. I enjoyed his music and yes his voice was his own. Singing is like any other job. There are good days and there are days that you just feel like taking the day off but you don't. Ali take your rest now and know that you have done what God wanted you to do, and that's love everyone with your whole heart no one is perfect. I wish the Woodson Family love and the peace that surpasses all understanding. And remember this passage from the Gospel of St. John: John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me.

It appears that Dennis Edwards may not be attending the final services for Ali Woodson, this weekend. In addition I was told that Tony Turner owns marble burial crypts in The Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn - very near Micheal Jackson's final resting place. Tony offered a crypt to Ali's family, the family did not accept since Ali's arrangements had already been made in advance. Ali will however be buried at Forest Lawn, but most likely not within The Great Mausoleum.
