THE TEMPTATIONS REVIEW featuring DENNIS EDWARDS - never let's you down. The guys turned in yet another perfect performance in this outdoor venue. It was a three o'clock show - with a 10 AM sound check - which also gathered a crowd. It was good to discover that PAUL WILLIAMS Jr. is back in the lineup, he really has a great voice and delivered a smooth solo. - I had not heard that OLLIE WOODSON had left the group, yet again. Does anyone know why? Perfect weather provided for a great afternoon show - the lineup of the songs remains basically the same - with the addition of SILENT NIGHT performed near the sets end. TONY TURNER in a sharp ZEGNA suit arrived from the hotel in his 2009 LEXUS just seconds prior to Dennis and the TEMPTATIONS arrival - they all sat and had what appeared to be a short meeting and lite dinner before the show. Tony did get me backstage to speak with the guys prior to the show and to let me take a few pictures. The mood backstage was very upbeat and great fun with all laughing crazy over some comments that TONY had made - they laughed so hard that they could'nt pose for my picture for a minute. They wore the limegreen suits, which I had not seen in person before. The show started on time and went over with the large crowd very well. People of all ages where present from children to grandparents. They have a concert in North Carolina I believe on Dec 18th then leave for Japan on the 20th of DEC. Is anyone going out to Las Vegas to see them for Valentines Day - it is just a one nighter, but still might be worth a weekend mini vacation. I wish all a HAPPY HOLIDAY and a BLESSED NEW YEAR.
