Saw the Otis Williams Temptations with the Spinners a couple years ago in Detroit at the Fox...The Spinners blew the Temptations away. I mentioned that to a Funk Brother and he said he wasn't surprised and that Dennis' Temptations blow Otis' away.

Without any doubt ...Dennis 's Group is the best!!!!! And Dennis is a fantastic performer that allows the Temptations sound to always be remembered by his Group The TEMPTATIONS Review, but in my mind his group is really The Temptations!!!!! Dennis is a wonderful person and he can do only great things. His voice never changes, always strong!!!!

I can't believe how folks can state that Otis's group can even come close to the real sound of The Temptations featuring Dennis Edwards. Dennis has done a fantastic job selecting singers that captures the real Temptations sound . It's a true honor to get the see The Temptation Review in concert. I can't wait to buy his new book and his solo CD with the Queen of Soul Ms Franklin I already have his gospel CD ( which is fantastic!!!!!!) and just ordered The Get Ready DVD.

Dennis was a blessing to the Temp and to us. He came into the group at just the right time and the Lord took it from there. I love Dennis's voice and no one till this day can match it its so unique. I think he and Melvin were the most animated of the group. Dennis was definately one of the best looking and he gave the group their sex appeal to me. I'm very proud of Dennis the way he handled himself after all he's been through. He could be under a bridge with a bottle turned up. He did't go into seclusion and down himself in alcohol or drugs. He has every right to the Temptation name because he was a member for so long. He will always be a Temp no matter what and he can't do anything about it. And that's a good thing. Dennis is much loved because of who he is as a man and because of that ruff, soulful churchy voice of his. I just feel that when he did his solo album "Coolin Out", he didn't get the push that he needed and they only played that one song on the radio; all the rest were never even heard unless you went and bought the album. To me Dennis is one of our greatest soul singers. I give mad props to him too. Here's to you Denny.

Uh, What happened to that long awaited duet with Aretha? What happened to the autobiography that we can't wait to read? Inquiring minds want to know.

We went to a Temp concert and it was not good. Bruce was screaming and not singing and they looked like they were trying too hard instead of just having fun entertaining us. Otis has been so hell bent on not letting any of the former members use The Temptations name that he forgot about their voices that contributed to the success of the group and made the name of The Temptations so great. Now, he is being held accountable by the majority of the fans who refuse to buy tickets because of his boneheaded decisions. The only reason why we continue to see The Temps is because of Ron and Terry. The other guys including Otis are not cutting it and they are not the same beloved group that they once were. A hard lesson for Otis to learn is that a name is worth nothing without having those voices to back it up.
