Hello everyone! Last night, I went to see "The Fighting Temptations". It was very good & I advise every & anyone to see it. Cuba Gooding's character is living a deceptive life in the big city & ends up being fired from his job. He heads back to the small town that he & his mother left when he was a young boy. His great aunt has died & in her will, she bequeaths him $150,000 but in order to get the money, he has to 6 wks to get his late aunt's choir into shape so they can compete & win the Gospel Choir contest. Overall, I really liked the music. It was very well put together & the musical performances were excellent. I was very impressed with Beyonce's performance in the movie, being that I am not a fan of hers. I thought her acting was very convincing. Obviously, the camera likes her & she comes across with a sweet innocence & radiates in every scene she's in. I agree that she literally steals it from Cuba. Any scene that she's in with him, you're more focused on her than him. The musical performances & cameos by The Ojays, Faith Evans, Angie Stone, Melba Moore, Shirley Casear, Ann Nesby, etc. were excellent!! All their parts complimented them to a tee! And props to Latanya Richardson! Whew! She was something else! I would advise anyone to go & see this movie. Even though, there is some salty language here & there, you can take your kids too. When this movie comes out on video, it will make a nice addition to your collection. That's my review!

Hey Er'body! I have been meaning to check this movie out...but I have been extremely busy. I would hate for this movie to go on video before I got a chance to see it. Beyonce has been getting rave reviews and I imagine would would steal the show from Cuba. Looks like I will be going to the movies this weekend!

Hey Blondie & Fast! Yeah, I suggested you catch it if you can. It is really nice & you can bring the rugrats to this movie. Beyonce, as I said, really impressed me with her performance.
