Diane was diggin' on Eddie KENDRICK way back in the day when they were The Primes & Primettes, and now her daughter is married to a dude with the same last name - KENDRICK! That's freakin' eery I just love how black folk are trying to clamour their way out of the ghetto and places like Harlem, yet them bourgie folks can't wait to move there to prove they're "down" and to get in touch with their "blackness" LOL! I don't know about yall, but I'm "down" and in touch with my blackness wherever I go and live! Being black is more than just where you live. Are there any "good/nice" parts in Harlem, or is the whole city a ghetto like East St. Louis is? Later.

;D I agree. It does not matter where you live that makes you who you are. It's all up to you. You can live in the ghetto and not have a "ghetto mentality" and you can live in the ritzy part of town and still carry the "ghetto mentality"... Soooo it's all about you...

Duchess, you must understand that Ross-Kendrick has led a very sheltered life. She has not been exposed to the things everyday people have. I imagine it must be quite exciting living in Harlem, catching trains, and walking about. I wonder if she frequents any of those wang joints ;D ;D
