This has always raised a question in my mind....what the hell were they doing riding around in a taxi?? Was it a prop or what?? Temptations riding around in a taxi?

Don't know what that was about. Maybe money was tight & that's all the guys could afford. Don't know who's concept that was but it did seem a little, er, tacky.

I caught the Temptations Reunion Tour in Concord, CA. I was wondering if there was a video of that tour, I would love to have a copy of it. If anyone has heard about anyone, or any business selling copies I would greatly appreciate any information that could be shared with me.

Hi Paco...and welcome to the board. I have not heard of any video taped performances of The Review. It would be a real treat if there was footage available. Perhaps we should start petitioning Dennis to release some.

Yes, they're talking about the one and only Reunion in 1982. It was great I heard........ well the shows that Ruff and Eddie were both in. I dont think it was as magical and fairy-taleish as the one displayed in the movie but it was good. Now I know they didn't allow videocameras in there which is a freakin shame. They should ahve. But you know what I think? Their publicity for that was underexposed and there just wasn't enough promotions for it. The producers were jerks only giving Dennis the leads. I mean David Ruffin sang on "You Better Beware" but that song was only good because it was David Ruffin on lead. Glenn, Richard, EDDIE, no one had leads but Dennis and occasionally David, not counting "Standing On The Top" which was the best song on the album. It's sad............. Ya know, I wish there would be another one too. It would have Otis's Temps, + Richard, Damon, Dennis, Ali, and Glenn. They're the best ones to put into that combo. Damon had the closest sounding voice to Eddie but Glenn had that presence and fire that Eddie had and the most versatility between tenor and falsetto just like Eddie. That's what I love about Glenn.
