Please be advised...THIS BOARD WILL NOT BE SHUTTING DOWN! If you think that Proboards is interested in the mudslinging that has been going on here...please think again. This is not a matter for them. I am advised that I must handle the cat fights the best way I know how. I am neither a babysitter or a bodyguard. I decided I would not get in this 'debate' because I don't want my name attatched to anything of this nature. Everyone here is grown and a willing participant. As I read back...I see this whole thing started when Seain made a statement about Dennis having to work. To me this beared no discussion. I actually believe Seain is concerned about Dennis as she is with quite a few others. One word led to another and now we want to shut the board down? That ain't happening! Things are not going the way you want them to and now you want to shut the board down. I am not the enemy here. I have the utmost respect for Dennis Edwards and always will...that was the reason for me creating this board and I am not about to let anyone tear it down simply because they got beef with someone else. The only one who has the authority to shut this board down is Mr Edwards himself...and he ain't about to do that because he is not going to cut off his fanbase. There is not one member of The Review that I will allow to be disrespected on this board! People have the right to come to a public message board and post ridiculous shyt...and I also have the right to tear them another  or ignore them. I choose to ignore most assinine comments cuz they are not worthy of a response. We have choices and we are responsible for the choices we make. Perhaps we should be a bit more discriminating when we decide to respond to a post. Some shyt just ain't worth it!  ...and still I rise! |

Hey Moderator,
The heading of the board needs to be updated with new pics of the Temps Review with Ali woodson because Bernard is no longer with the group.
We're heading into 2008 and we want our chat room to be great.
We've already got readers from the fan club comming over so lets make a good impression.
I would like to be an assistant moderator for the board when your not on here.
This way I can spuce it up a little if that's ok with you.

I'm glad to hear this board won't be shutting down, especially since I was finally able to join. With much thanks to the person I emailed a little while ago and who responded so quickly. Plus I have been a Dennis and Temptations fan for as long as I can remember. I am dating myself with this statement but they have made some of the greatest music ever so what the hey.
Since I am new I know nothing about the cat fights that have evidently been going on. But I fo have to ask why? I have seen too many groups destroyed by such actions.
Connsidering the joy and beautiful music the man has helped give us all over the years, surely the man deserves the respect of all the members instead of petty bickering between members.
I'm sure many of you are thinging who the hell am I to join and give an immediate opinion but it's just too disrespectful to the man to not say anything.
Dennis certainly deserves better from his fans than people in a group devoted to him using this group to bicker amongst themselves instead of giving him the respect he deserves and just being thankful for the joy he has brought us all for so many years.
I have to get my son off to school so I will have to wait until later to roam around and check out the group. Hopefully I will find more of the love and respect that he deserves than personal bickering between members who came together out of love for him and his music.
My thanks once again to the person who responded so quickly to my request for help in getting my activation code working.

To The Moderator.
I am the fan club coordinator for The Temptations Review.
We love this board but it is outdated with old pics and information.
No body is telling anybody what to do.
I was simply asking if I could help you keep
the chat room current.
I see that its not and I won't bother you
about it any more.
If you change your mind, I'll be glad to assist.
