I finally got a chance to see The Review on PBS! One of the announcers made that statement about Dennis and I am in total agreement. He wwent on to day that David was not here, Paul was not here, Eddie was not here, and Melvin was not here. But Dennis is. I find it very strange that some people are not more appreciative of Dennis' role in the group. Dennis...I appreciate and respect your contributions to our music history. I LOVE you baby! But, getting back to the show...I must say I thought they did a fantastic show...even tho my man did not get to sing a solo...but he was LQQKIN GOOD. In fact, they all were. I enjoyed everyone of them. B-Man was his usually jovial self. Mike and Chris also looked nice...fresh and crisp! Dennis was looking well and vocals were strong. I noticed they had the 4 headed microphone too. They were in grand Temptation style. They only sang 2 songs as far as I can see...haven't finished the entire program yet. Still looking for Ali. Ree Ree...what can I say? She sounded good, but... Mary Wilson looks good and sounded good. I enjoyed all the acts. For the most part, all looked and performed well. I can say that I truly enjoyed what I've seen so far. Did anyone else think that Mary Wilson sounded a tad bit like Mary Wells while she was singing Someday We'll Be Together? That raspiness.

CP, I AGREE WITH YOU 100% THAT DENNIS NEEDS TO BE CHERISHED. I HAVE NOTHING BUT LOVE, RESPECT AND THE DEEPEST ADMIRATION FOR HIM. HE'S HAD A LOT OF CHALLENGES--BUT CONQUERS THEM ALL. GOD BLESS YOU DENNIS AND CONGRATULATIONS ON ALL YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS. I KNOW THERE WILL BE MANY MORE TO COME.

(((Eizee & CP))) I am in total agreement. I have the utmost of respect and admiration for [[[Dennis Edwards]]]. I heard the announcer when he said "David Paul Eddie Melvin, the original members are all deceased BUT Dennis is here". Yep, I do support Dennis and the Review because so many have gone on before him. It is a BLESSING that we still have him here with us. (((Eizee))) when I saw him at the Dolton Expo Center a few years back, he gave homage to his "Temptation Brothers" as he calls them. He said he thinks about his "Brothers" and I have often wondered why God took them and spared me. He becomes quite emotional when he talked of david eddie paul and melvin that night. I like that. I think that what he means is at one point in his lifetime he was just as notorious as david and paul and eddie, but God spared him. I like the fact that he STILL gives them their props because they are the ones who started it all.
God Bless Dennis Edwards. I for one, am thankful that he is still here.

HI JILL, I TOO HAVE BEEN AT SHOWS WHERE DENNIS GETS EMOTIONAL ABOUT EDDIE, PAUL, DAVID AND MELVIN. I GET EMOTIONAL TOO EVERYTIME HE PAYS TRIBUTE TO THEM. AS FAR AS WHY, GOD SPARED DENNIS, NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE BUT GOD MUST HAVE A SPECIAL PURPOSE FOR HIM THAT WILL ONE DAY BE REVEALED. WHATEVER THE REASON, I JUST THANKFUL DENNIS WAS SPARED. THANK YOU LORD.

Hello I'm new to this group of people and I just wanna say hello. Now my opinion is I think if it wasn't for Dennis, they would not have gotten a grammy. I mean granted, even though if David Ruffin (Who is my actual favorite Temp of all time) stayed, they would have received a grammy anyway, Dennis was their key. People are too damn stupid these days giving Otis all the love? Do you hear him sing on "Cloud Nine"? NO, you hear Dennis, Mr Heart and Soul Paul Williams, and Sweet Eddie Kendricks. Oh yeah and Blue Franklin. But still, you hear DENNIS! Dennis is what fueled that song. He is what made that song that song. People even talk trash about Dennis and I hate to hear that. People should be talking about Otis in that way. He is what caused the Temps to lose their sound, their spirit, and their heart and soul. I think it would have been perfect to have (if they were still alive today and healthy) Dennis, David, Eddie, Paul, and Harry MacGilberry (Cuz you know Blue would have followed O anyway) together. That would have been tyte. I have my own comments about what I think about each member of the Review but I dont know yall. I dont know if any of you will take what I say to heart. Just know it's my opinion if you dont mind me letting it out.
