HEY CP, NOBODY REALLY LED "HELLO YOUNG LOVERS"-IT WAS A GROUP EFFORT. DENNIS DOES DO SOME TALKING BEFORE THEY GET INTO THE SONG ABOUT NOT KNOWING EVERYBODY IN THE AUDIENCE BY NAME BUT THEY JUST WANT TO SAY "HELLO-"-AND THEN THE SONG STARTS. IT WAS REALLY CLASSY--SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT. AS FAR AS MY FRIEND BEING SHOCKED--SHE REALLY WASN'T SURPRISED THAT THE REVIEW WAS SO GOOD. SHE SAID SHE ALWAYS THOUGHT DENNIS WAS THE MOST TALENTED TEMPTATION AND THE GROUP LOST A LOT THEIR POPULARITY AFTER DENNIS LEFT AS FAR AS SHE IS CONCERENED. YEAH, YOU KNOW BERNARD SHOWED OFF AFTER "DON'T LOOK BACK". IT LOOKED LIKE HE WAS HAVING SO MUCH FUN--WENT THE THE EDGE OF THE STAGE HOLDING HIS EAR WAITING FOR MORE APPLAUSE AND WAS CLAPPING FOR HIMSELF. HE'S FUNNY. GURL--WHY DON'T THEY HAVE A VIDEO? CAN YOU MENTION THAT TO SOMEBODY--YOU KNOW IT WOULD SELL. THE ONLY THING I HAVE ON VIDEO IS ONE SONG--"PAPA" WHEN THEY DID THE JENNY JONES SHOW SOME YEARS AGO I TAPED IT--MOST OF THE CURRENT GUYS AREN'T EVEN IN IT. OTHER THAN DENNIS THE ONLY OTHER ONE I RECOGNIZED WAS BERNARD--SO YOU KNOW IT'S NOT RECENT. BUT EVEN THEN--IT WAS GREAT.

Lawd, Lawd, Lawd...Eizzie, gurl, I had to move your post again. When you respond to a topic, just look at the bottom of the post you are replying to and hit reply. this should solve the problem. I am having a hard time keeping up with you jumping across the board. Looks like you playing hide and seek. Just reply to the post you are responding to. I bet when The Review sang Hello Young Lovers, the harmony was tight! I am in agreement with your friend regarding the Tempts losing popularity after Dennis left. Ali came on board and revived them, then after he left, I just sorta lost interest. the Tempts just didn't have that sound anymore. But my absolute favorite Tempt was Ruff. I can't compare them because each was unique in their greatness. Bernard seems as tho he really enjoys performing and I really enjoy watching him perform. He sorta reminds me of Bubba Knight performing...just havin a damn good time! ;D I have the tape of them performing on Jenny Jones. I believe it was taped shortly after Eddie passed. I don't think Mr. Sea was with them at the time. The bass singer with the ponytail was with them, Nate Evans was with them also. I believe either Mike or Bernard was with them...not really sure. It's been a long time since I have watched the tape. I think this particular lineup works well together. It seems like they fit! I ordered my cd from Best Buy. Since it is an import is probably the reason it is taking so long. Hopefully, I will get it soon. Maybe Dennis was kinda pissed because one of their past promoters released material on them and they didn't get a dime. I think it was on Spectrum label. I know Seain will probably know for sure. Latah!
