HEY CP AND SEAIN, YEAH I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE VIDEO. I WAS HOPING I WOULD GET A CALL TODAY SAYING COME ON OVER TO WATCH IT. IF I DON'T HAVE AN INVITE BY WEDNESDAY--IM JUST GOING TO HAVE TO INVITE MYSELF TO HER HOUSE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TYPE OF CAMCORDER SHE HAS BUT IF I CAN GET A COPY--YOU KNOW I WILL SHARE. HER HUSBAND IS AN ATTORNEY AND KNOWING HIM HE WILL PROBABLY OBJECT TO GIVING ME A COPY BECAUSE ITS PROBABLY NOT LEGAL--BUT HELL, IT WASN'T LEGAL TO TAPE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. THAT'S GOING BE MY ARGUMENT . IM GETTING REAL DEPRESSED LOOKING AT THE SCHEDULE BECAUSE I DON'T SEE MUCH ON IT LATELY THAT I CAN GET TOO--SO I GUESS I'LL JUST HAVE TO LIVE OFF THE VIDEO. SEAIN, AS FAR AS THE TWINS, SHE JUST SAID THEY WERE PETITE AND CUTE AND IDENTICAL. BY THE WAY--HOW OLD IS THE SEAMAN--MUST NOT BE THAT OLD. MAYBE THE WIFE IS YOUNG. DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE 411 ON THE OTHER GUYS AS FAR AS KIDS OR ANYTHING? KEEP ME POSTED.

Hey Eizzie, I'm a little confused. Why is it illegal to tape it if it was a outdoor event? If you can take pictures, I don't see why filming would be any different. And if you have vcrs, you can easily make yourself a copy or you might have to bring you vcr & hook it up to hers. But first, she has to make a vhs copy, which is quite simple. Does she know how to make a copy from her camcorder? If not, I or CP, will be more than willing to be of assistance.

Seain, you're probably right about it being legal since it was a outside show. She said she didn't pull the camcorder out until she saw a lot of other people taping and no body stopped her. I just meant that her husband is an attorney who goes strickley by the book--so if it weren't legal he would never let her make a copy. Damn, I wish I had known it was ok to tape outside as many outside shows as I have been to--I could have had a whole tape library by now. I'll have to remember that from now on. Of course, now that the weather is changing it probably won't be too many more outside shows for a while. As usual, Im always a day late and a $ short.

Good evening Seain and Eizzie. Still waiting on more of the Review's review. Eizze, to my understanding, it is not illega to tape the show. I think it would be illegal to sell it. Hopefully, the atty will give his approval. I promised myself that I would not go to any more outdoor concerts because they were simply too much trouble. The parking is awful. then you got to walk a country mile, hauling chair, food, and dranks. You practically have to get up at the crack of dawn to get a good spot. I would much rather sit my arse down indoors and be served! Of course you can get really wild at an outdoor concert, but we'll see when the weather gets warmer. Eizzie, how many times have you seen the Review this year?

HELLO EVERYONE, I FINALLY WENT TO MY FRIENDS HOUSE TODAY TO CHECK OUT THE TEMPTATIONS REVIEW AT THE FLORIDA SHOW IN DISNEYWORLD THAT SHE RECORDED. UNFORTUNATELY, SHE STILL HASN'T GOTTEN AROUND TO PUTTING IT ON A TAPE SO I HAD TO LOOK AT THE SHOW RIGHT FROM THE CAMCORDER. SHE STARTED TAPING IN THE MIDDLE OF A SHOW (THE 6:45 SHOW) SO IT WASN'T VERY MANY SONGS ON THE FIRST PART. BUT I'LL DO MY BEST TO REPORT FROM WHAT I REMEMBER SEEING. THE REVIEW HAD ON ORANGE (BURNT ORANGE) SUITS, WITH BLACK SHIRTS, SOME TYPE OF BLACK JEWELRY ON THE LAPEL AND BLACK SHOES. WHEN THE TAPING STARTED THEY WERE CLOSE TO THE END OF SINGING "BALL OF CONFUSION", FOLLOWED BY "AIN'T TO PROUD TO BEG", "PAPA WAS A ROLLING STONE", "LADY SOUL", "GOD BLESS AMERICA" AND "MY GIRL"(WHICH ROLLED INTO JUST MY IMAGINATION). SHE GOT SOME PRETTY GOOD SHOTS AT THE END OF THE SHOW WITH THE GUYS SHAKING PEOPLES HANDS THAT CAME UP NEAR THE STAGE. DIDN'T SEE DENNIS SHAKING HANDS--MAYBE HE DID AND SHE JUST DIDN'T HAVE THE CAMERA ON HIM. CHRIS LOOKED LIKE HE EVEN CAME OFF THE STAGE INTO THE AUDIENCE SHAKING HANDS. JUDGING FROM THE APPLAUSE--IT MUST HAVE BEEN A GOOD SHOW. SHE HAD THE ENTIRE 8:15 SHOW ON TAPE. FROM WHAT SHE SAID THEY HAD 3 SHOWS A NIGHT AT 5:15, 6:45 AND 8:15 AND EACH SHOW ONLY LASTED ABOUT 35 MINUTES. ON THE 8:15 SHOW, THEY GUYS WORE YELLOW SUITS. IT LOOKED LIKE THE SHIRTS WERE A SOFT YELLOW WITH SOME GREEN IN THEM. THEY LOOKED REALLY GOOD. COULDN'T TELL THE EXACT COLOR OF THE SHOES ON TAPE BUT THEY LOOKED LIGHT SO IM GUESSING THEY WERE PROBABLY LIGHT YELLOW. THE SHOW STARTED OUT WITH "STANDING ON THE TOP", FOLLOWED BY "PSYCHEDELIC SHACK", "HELLO YOUNG LOVERS", "PAPA WAS A ROLLING STONE", "DON'T LOOK BACK", "I WISH IT WOULD RAIN", (AFTER WISH IT WOULD RAIN, DENNIS MADE A FUNNY COMMENT ABOUT WHEN HE FIRST MET DAVID HE DIDN'T THINK THEY BOY HAD IT IN HIM--BUT THEN HE POPPED UP A MADE TWIN GIRLS--THAT'S WHEN HE INTRODUCED THE TWINS AND HAD THEM COME TO THE STAGE TO GET THESE HUGE MICKEY MOUSE TOYS--THE TOYS WERE AS BIG AS TWINS WERE. THEY ARE TWO CUTE LITTLE GIRLS). THE SHOW CONTINUED ON WITH DENNIS DOING "GOD BLESS AMERICA " AND AGAIN ENDING THE SHOW WITH "MY GIRL". YOU COULD SEE ON THE TAPE THAT PEOPLE WERE ON THEIR FEET DOING THE TEMPTATION WALK--LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE HAVING A GREAT TIME. AGAIN, JUDGING FROM THE APPLAUSE--THE SHOW MUST HAVE BEEN VERY GOOD. MY FRIEND SAID THEY ENJOYED IT SO MUCH THAT THEY HAD PLANNED TO GO BACK THE NEXT EVENING BUT THERE WAS A STEADY RAIN SO THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND. THIS IS THE SAME FRIEND WHO I HAVE ASKED TO GO TO A FEW SHOWS WITH ME AND SHE NEVER WANTED TO--NOW SHE'S ASKING ME TO LET HER KNOW IF THEY EVER COME TO TOWN BECAUSE SHE WANTS TO GO--I THINK THAT DENNIS AND THE REVIEW HAVE DEFINATELY GOT HER HOOKED.

Eizzie, I enjoyed your review! . From the sound of things, it appears they have added new songs to their repertoire...You know I gotta ask who sang Hello Young Lovers? It sounds like a job for the Seaman! I used to know the act by heart, now it seems they are changing, which is a good thing. I guess your friend thought Dennis was washed up. boy, did she get a reality check. This is one of the reasons I love seeing The Review perform. Some acts seem boring because you have seen them so many time throughout the years. But Dennis rocks the house. They give a very energetic show and will not leave you disappointed. I've never been bored or disappointed when I'm being entertained by them. Evidently, Dennis enjoys performing because if he didn't it would sure show. I hate it when a performer is not enthusiastic when he is performing...makes me sorry I spent my damn money to see him. I'll gladly pay to SEA The Review! ;D I wish I could see the twins...I bet they are pretty too. They can't help it, they come from good stock! How was Beeman...did he clown while singing Don't Look Back? I know he did! Gee, I can't wait until I see them again. Dennis knows he really ought to have a video in circulation. Shoot! I need something to carry me over til the next fix! I have just about worn out San Pablo. Come on Big Poppa, give us a video

As usual, Eizzie gives us the 411, straight & no chaser! Thanks for the great review! It sounds like your friend had a great time. I could understand how she could get captured under the spell of Dennis & the guys. They can really sing! David does an excellent job on "I wish it would rain", so this is a good thing that this song is still in the group's reportoire. Now, I would've love to hear them sing "Hello Young Lovers". What a treat that must've been!

eizzie, I don't know if you could tell from the video, but what was the majority of the audience? Were they mainly white or black, men or women, young or old? I always wonder who supports and goes to these shows. I hope there were a good number of blacks there because black folk NEED to support our classic music and our classic musicians BEFORE they die. Later.
