HI REVIEW FANS, I DEFINATLEY AGREE WITH GIGI, THE SHOW IN BETHLEHEM WAS FANTASTIC AND THE AUDIENCE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE RECEPTIVE. THE SHOW STARTED WITH MARY WILSON AND HER SUPREMES AND I MUST SAY SHE WAS VERY GOOD. AT ONE POINT IN THE SHOW WHEN SHE DID "DANCING IN THE STREETS", THE ENTIRE AUDIENCE WAS UP ON THEIR FEET AND AT LEAST 25 PEOPLE (MY GOOD FRIEND TAMM INCLUDED) WERE UP ON THE STAGE DANCING WITH HER. IT WAS A GREAT WARM-UP TO GET READY FOR THE REVIEW. MARY LOOKS FANTASTIC. ITS HARD TO BELEIVE THIS WOMAN IS 60 YEARS OLD AND HAD A STROKE A FEW MONTHS AGO. NOW ITS TIME FOR THE REVIEW TO COME ON AND THE EXCITEMENT IS REALLY STARTING TO BUILD. THE GUYS CAME OUT LOOKING TOO SHARP IN THEIR PURPLE SUITS. MAN O MAN WERE THEY LOOKING AND SOUNDING GREAT!!!. GIGI IS RIGHT, DAVID SEA HAS A LOT OF NEW MOVES. HE WAS TEARING IT UP WITH HIS NEW DANCE STEPS. AND I KNOW I DON'T HAVE TO TELL YOU HOW HE BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN ON "I WISH IT WOULD RAIN". DENNIS DID A PHENOMENIAL JOB ON "GOD BLESS AMERICA". ONCE AGAIN, THE ENTIRE AUDIENCE WERE WAVING THEIR HANDS BACK IN FORTH IN THE AIR BEING VERY PATRIOTIC AND GAVE HIM A STANDING OVATION. IM ALWAYS MOVED WHEN I HEAR DENNIS SING THIS SONG, BUT FOR SOME REASON, EVEN MORE SO THE OTHER NIGHT. HE REALLY PUT HIS HEART AND SOUL INTO IT. ALL THE GUYS WERE REALLY UPBEAT AND SEEMED TO BE ENJOYING THEMSELVES. CHRIS WAS SOUNDING EVER SO SWEET ON ALL HIS PARTS AND GIGI IS RIGHT, HE IS BEGINNING TO SOUND MORE AND MORE LIKE EDDIE KENDRICKS. MIKE DID A GREAT JOB ON "RAINY NIGHT IN GEORGIA" AND OF COURSE, BERNARD WAS FANTASTIC ON "DON'T LOOK BACK". THANKS AGAIN GUYS FOR BEING EVER SO GRACIOUS TO US AS ALWAYS AND FOR GIVING US ANOTHER UNFORGETTABLE SHOW!!!! I DID GET A FEW PIC'S THAT I WILL GET POSTED A LITTLE LATER.

TEXTTEXT Bethelem, PA The Musikfest August 13th, 2004 was da bomb! Mary Wilson was beyond belief...she proved that the cream always rises to the top...or should I say you can't keep a good woman down...Diva was fierce..the drag wasn't necessarily the best I have seen...but girlfriend was working the idea...she sang her satndard Supreme songs which was nice...but then she decided to prove that the voice lessons are workin' and baby satarted singing the showing stop tune from Dream Girls which is suppose to be about the Supremes but what ever..Lady Mary gave the audience all of their money's worth and more when she sang...and baby I mean SANG "I am Changing" and no better song because Mary Wilson is a brand new girl Baby..Trust me when I tell you..Miss Ross must be gagging because the prey has become the predator and believe you me...if Tina Turner is hanging up her rock diva crown...well sixty year old Mary Wilson who reportely had a stroke burned on the Rolling Stones' "Brown Sugga"..she prance and danced and demonstrated that she should never be billed as and Oldie act...nobody bills Diana Ross as an Oldie act...doesn't Mary deserve a break today...after 46 years in show business..isn't there enough in the kitty for Mary to be in the lime light with deference to her astonishing appearrance and electrifying energy...the woman is fabulous and she looks half her age...any way sixty or not..girl friend has enough confidence in herself to put two stunning longlegged light skinned young women behing her who can sing and perform...the staging and choreography was very remiscent of Tina and it worked for Mary who never gave evidence of being out of shape in any way...she said she is a grandma and Qoute "I got bout eight grand children." She spoke of peace and love and healiing the planet before her dramatic egress of hips swinging and fast walking like a ball of fire...she left the audience loving her more and stunned by her amazing youthfulness and energy. The along came the Temptation Review with Dennis Edwards who is always superb even when you can he don't feel like it...there was something a little different this time about Dennis...he seemed relaxed and content about something...last time I saw himfor sure he is not selfish witht he showcasing of his review...David Sea is featured and though he reminds me more of Wilson Pickett than he does a Temptation singer..however he is a great singer and performer...I remember him from Kendrick, Ruffiin and Edwards...they had a girl in the group which I never understood but it wasn't bad..she could sing..any way the Temptation review rocked and the audience was loving the whole thing...still when you think Temptation you get help but miss the presence of Melvin, Eddie and David no matter how good somebody is singing you just can't help but miss those guys..any way Chris Arnold seems to have more confidence and charisma that usual...he had more command then I can remember..he always sings his part but this time had a star quality that hadn't revealed it self in the past...he sounds closer to Eddie Kendrick then Ron Tyson who make no mistake nails those Kendrick leads but Chris Arnold seems to have listened more carefully to the nuances of Kendrick then Tyson who probably fears losing his identity and sound..which is understandable. Every one was on time and superb all in all...I must say they were definitely more dynamic than the other faction who was at Radio City Music Hall and getting slayed by the OJay's and The Wispers night after night on the Al Hayman tour...point..I betcha if Hayman had bought the edwards group he wouldn't got more bang for his money...oops! I only mean that Dennis Edwards got it going on..he too looks good for sixty something or other and inspite of his extra pounds Dennis is still doing the Temptation walk and moving smoothly through the routines and again he is high on top of his game...he stood the house up when he sang "God Bless America" as only he can...calling in tribute to some of the greatest cities in America not to leave out the hard hit and very vulnerable New York City and the nation's capitol Washington, DC. Rockin in the audience was back board breaking Darryl Dawkins former center for the Philadelphia 76ers whom Dennis acknowledged the presence of. Now I got to say that who ever is picking ou the clothes for the Temptation Review and Dennis edwards should be shot by the fashion police...the same with dennis and his guys..they should not be billed as an oldie act..there is enogh substance there to continue as a progression of a career. I hate the skulldugery that exist in this game called show business emphasizing the music industry..there always has to be a scrificial lamb...when in fact there is room for every one to win... Any way back to the clothes...who ever picked those suits out had the Oak Ridge Boys or some other Country Western Group in mid...matter fact they were thinking real retro back in the day...These guys need to be in slick tuxedos and well tailored suits in solid colors that transcends fad, trend or plain wrong thing to wear. The stylist needs to fo back to the Motown formula for class and style...Eddie Kendrick use to be the fashion police for the tEMPTATIONS..HE HAS IMPECABLE TASTE AND STYLE..CLASS AND ELEGANCE

Hey Eizzie, Gigii, and Diva! I so enjoyed reading your reviews. It looks like The Review performed as usual...fantastic! Reading your reviews make me wish I was there. Too bad they had to cancel here. But I am looking forward to seeing them soon. I am looking forward to seeing Mr new moves. ;D He can bring the house down all by himself. Diva, I agree with Eizzie...I kind of like those purple suits...if they are the same ones I'm thinking of. The important thing is, they are performing at top notch. I'm just envious that I don't get to see them as often as I would like. Keep up the good work guys!
