OK FASTNFANCY, HERE'S MY REVIEW SO YOU CAN STOP WORRYING A SISTAH TO DEATH!! ;D ;D. TO START WITH, I JUST DON'T THINK DENNIS AND THE REVIEW COULD GET ANY BETTER THAN THEY WERE SATURDAY NIGHT IN LAS VEGAS. THE SHOW WAS POSITIVELY OFF THE CHAIN. THESE GUYS WERE ON FIRE!!!!. THE SHOW STARTED PROMPTLY AT 8PM. THE GUYS CAME OUT IN WHITE SUITS AND WHITE SHOES. THESE WERE NEW WHITE SUITS MADE FOR SUMMER WITH SHORT SLEEVES. TO TOP IT OFF, THE BAND WAS ALSO WEARING CO-ORDINATING SUITS. THEY WERE LOOKING OH SO GOOD. THEY STARTED AS USUAL WITH STANDING ON THE TOP, FOLLOWED BY PSYCHEDELIC SHACK, HELLO YOUNG LOVERS, CLOUD NINE, BALL OF CONFUSION, RAINY NIGHT IN GEORGIA,(MIKE WAS EXCELLENT ON THIS) CAN'T GET NEXT TO YOU, LADY SOUL, DON'T LOOK BACK,(BERNARD WAS REALLY GOOD AND CLOWNING AS USUAL), PAPA, ETC., ETC., ETC. SOMEWHERE DURING ALL THESE SONGS DENNIS ACKNOWLEDGED JOE JACKSON (MICHAEL'S FATHER) BEING IN THE AUDIENCE AND JOE STOOD AND TOOK A BOW. AFTER THEY SANG ANOTHER SONG OR TWO, IT SUDDENLY GOT QUITE AND DENNIS BEGAN TO TALK. HE TOLD THE AUDIENCE HOW HE HAD JUST LOST HIS MOTHER LAST WEEK....THAT SHE HAD PASSED ON, AND HE WAS DEDICATING THE NEXT SONG TO HER. WHEN THE MUSIC FOR "A SONG FOR YOU STARTED", I STARTED TEARING UP BEFORE HE EVEN STARTED SINGING BECAUSE I KNOW HOW EMOTIONAL THIS HAD TO BE FOR HIM. I HAVE NEVER HEARD DENNIS LIKE THIS. HE WAS ON FIRE!!!. IT WAS AS IF SOME SUPERNATURAL ANGELIC FORCE TOOK HIM OVER. IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SOUND I HAVE EVER HEARD AND TO TOP IT OFF, HE ROLLED IT RIGHT INTO "MEMORIES". YOU COULD SEE THE TEARS IN HIS EYES. I DON'T KNOW HOW HE GOT THRU IT SO BEAUTIFULLY WITH ALL THE EMOTIONS HE WAS FEELING....BUT HE DID. I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO TELL YOU THE AUDIENCE WENT WILD AND HE GOT A STANDING OVATION. IT WAS SO, SO, EMOTIONAL. DENNIS REALLY TOOK US TO CHRUCH ON THAT SONG. WHEN IT WAS OVER, ALL THE GUYS WENT OVER TO HIM AND PATTED HIM ON THE BACK AND EMBRACED HIM. I STILL GET CHILL BUMPS WHEN I THINK OF IT NOW. I JUST WISH YOU ALL COULD HAVE WITNESSED IT, BECAUSE IT IS NO WAY I CAN PUT IT INTO WORDS. I LOOKED OVER AND BOTH OF MY GIRLFRIENDS WERE CRYING LIKE BABIES. ONE OF THEM WAS SO BAD, SHE HAD TO GO TO THE LADIES ROOM TO GET HERSELF TOGETHER. THE REVIEW CONTINUED ON WITH A FEW MORE SONGS. ANOTHER HIGHLIGHT WAS OF COURSE, MR. SEA WITH "WISH IT WOULD RAIN". AS USUAL, HE TORE THE ROOF OFF THE HOUSE. AND THEN TOWARD THE END OF THE SHOW, DENNIS SANG "GOD BLESS AMERICA". NOW YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER, THE AUDIENCE'S EMOTIONS WERE ALREADY FLYING HIGH....AND THIS SONG JUST TOOK IT OVER THE TOP. CHRIS REALLY SHINED ON THIS ONE. WOW!!!!. THAT MAN HAS A BEAUTIFUL VOICE AND CAN SING SEVERAL RANGES. THE REVIEW THEN ENDED THE SHOW WITH MY GIRL AND THE WHOLE AUDIENCE WAS ON THEIR FEET DOING THE TEMPTATION WALK. IT WAS AN INCREDIBLE SHOW. AND I CERTAINLY CAN'T FORGET THE BAND. THEY WERE FANTASTIC.!!!!. IT WAS REALLY GOOD TO SEE GREG DOKES BACK. I HAD FORGOTTEN HOW HE MAKES THAT KEYBOARD SING. WELL THAT'S ABOUT ALL I CAN REMEMBER ABOUT THE SHOW, BUT IN ADDITON TO THE SHOW, I GOT A CHANCE TO GO TO SOUNDCHECK. THAT WAS REALLY FUN. ALL THE SONGS THAT I WANTED TO HEAR, IF I DIDN'T HEAR THEM ON THE SHOW....I HEARD THEM AT SOUNDCHECK. TWO OF MY FAVORTIES THEY DID AT SOUNDCHECK WAS NATURALLY AND IM LOSING YOU.
IM SURE I'VE FORGOTTEN A LOT, SO MAYBE I CAN CONVINCE MY GIRLFRIENDS TO COME OVER AND POST AND FILL IN SOME OF THE BLANKS.
I HAVE A FEW PIC'S TO POST....JUST GOTTA FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO IT.

Thanks (((Eizee)) BEAUTIFUL. They were jammin Dennis this morning on Soul 106.3 OHMYGOODNESS... "Don't Look Any Further" erbody getting ready for work 'Steppin' aahhh that's the cut! They were announcing his appearance here at the Park West and giving away tickets. One guy won the weekend package for Father's Day, he was so excited. I would have cried too if I heard/saw my Brother sing this cut. Lord have mercy. For those of us who have lost our Mom's like Brother Dennis, we know that when you lose your Mother, you've lost your best friend. MAMA is the only BEING in the WORLD, BESIDES JESUS THAT LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY.... I know what Dennis was feeling when he was singing......TTEXTThank you and God Bless You (((Eizee))) beautiful review... Peace...

Eizzie...I so enjoyed reading your review! I can imagine how emotionally charged the show must have been. With Dennis' emotions still raw...I don't see how he pulled it off. It sounded like a really good show...sure wish I could have been there... It seems as if you covered everything and then some. Glad to know Greg Dokes is back...he knows he can play those keyboards. I knew Mr brought the house down as usual...I can't expect any less from my baby! Can't wait until they come here! It won't be too soon!

Hey Eizzie! What a touching review! I probably would've been boo-hooing myself. I got to give to Dennis, that despite having lost his mother, he still gave a 150%. I felt a little somber as read your review because it's never easy to get up on stage & throw down after losing a loved one. I'm sure his mama was smiling down on him. I wish I was there with you because the show sounded like they tore the roof off in Vegas. Can't wait for your pics. Again, thanks for that moving review!

hello everyone i am new to the board and my name is gigii. i was recently in vegas with my friend eizzie, so i also had the pleasure of seeing the best show dust far by the temps review.. the most heart felt show i've ever seen, i happened to be one of the ones balling her eyes out when dennis sang memories, dedicated to his mother. you could feel the electricity throughout the entire building.david sea and bernard were equally great as usual, BUT chris sounded like an angel when he sang, just my imagination it was soooo beautiful. the band was off the hook. i had never heard greg before that night at sound check what a pleasure, then came the show , little did i know how much of a treat i was in for, pete was great too, they all were. they looked good too all decked out in their white beaded and stud suits (the band too) . i can't wait fir the next show. i enjoyed it so much i'm just about recovered. so if you haven't seen the show lately YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE MISSING.....THEY JUST GET BETTER WITH TIME

Hey Gigi, gurl, I enjoyed reading your review. I feel like I really missed out on a good show. I can't wait til they get to the ATL...I will be there with bells on! ;D I can definitely tell the difference when Greg Dokes was not with the band. It seems Dokes plays with more passion. I know Pete did his thing as usual...I think he's a damn good drummer...wit his crazy self! ;D That's my guy! It does seem like Chris' voice sounds sweeter each time I hear him!

hello peoples! i have thought about this for awhile, but i just wanted to publicly state this...... i am soooo thankful for the temptations review featuring dennis edwards. i never got the chance to see the classic 5 live, and more importantly never had the chance to see the late great eddie james kendrick or david ruffin, but because of dennis i almost feel like i'm able to see and hear them through him. its like he has a little part of them that he is able to share with us. and the fact that he makes mention of all of his fallen temptations brothers appearently at every show, well i think that God is blessing him for that. i don't know, i guess i'm blabbling, but i just wanted to share that.

Hey MisLandra! When Dennis pays homage to his Temptations Brothers, you can tell he really misses them. At every show I have seen, Dennis states that he knows he has been blessed! He does one helluva job keeping the legend alive. And that is why
