HI REVIEW FANS, THE WASHINGTON DC SHOW WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!. THE GUYS WERE REAL UPBEAT AND THE AUDIENCE WAS EXTREMLEY RECEPTIVE. THEY WERE LOOKING SHARP IN THE RED SUITS WITH GOLD TRIM, GOLD ASCOT SHIRTS AND RED SHOES. YOU COULD FEEL THE EXCITEMENT IN THE PLACE WHEN THE MUSIC STARTED PLAYING--EVERYBODY SEEMED TO BE REALLY PUMPED UP AND READY FOR A GOOD SHOW--AND A GOOD SHOW WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE GOT. THE SHOW WAS CHANGED AROUND A LITTLE BIT---BUT FOR THE MOST PART THE SONGS WERE THE SAME. AS USUAL, DAVID SEA TURNED THE SHOW OUT WITH I WISH IT WOULD RAIN--THE AUDIENCE WENT WILD ON THIS ONE AND THE REVIEW GOT A STANDING OVATION. DENNIS SHOWED OUT ON THIS ONE WITH DAVID--CLOWNING AROUND. IT WAS CUTE AND A NICE EXTRA TOUCH AND THE AUDIENCE LOVED IT. I DIDN'T REALIZE UNTIL THE OTHER NIGHT HOW POPULAR "DON'T LOOK ANY FURTHER" IS IN DC--THE CROWD WENT WILD ON THIS ONE AND HALF THE AUDIENCE WAS ON THEIR FEET DANCING TO THE BEAT. THE OTHER SURPRISING THING WAS THE AGE OF THE AUDIENCE. I WAS EXPECTING A OLDER CROWD--BUT NOT SO--IT WAS REALLY MIXED. A LOT OF YOUNGER PEOPLE WERE THERE. THE GIRL I SAT NEXT TOO WAS SO FUNNY. THAT GIRL JUMPED UP TO JUST ABOUT EVERY SONG AND KNEW ALL THE WORDS. I COULD SEE SHE WAS YOUNG AND I ASKED HER HOW OLD SHE WAS. SHE SAID 32. SHE HAD THREE OTHER GIRLS WITH HER--ALL IN EARLY 30'S. IT'S GOOD TO SEE THAT DENNIS AND THE BOYS CAN STILL BRANG IT LIKE THAT ;D ;D. THEY REALLY GAVE IT THEIR ALL AND IT WAS AN OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE.
I DIDN'T GET TO THE SHOW IN TIME TO CATCH ANY OF MILLIE JACKSON--BUT I HEARD SHE WAS GOOD. I DID GET THEIR IN TIME TO SEE BOBBY WOMACK. TRUTHFULLY, I'VE NEVER BEEN A BIG FAN OF BOBBIE WOMACK--BUT AFTER FRIDAY, I THINK I HAVE TO CHANGE THAT--HE WAS VERY, VERY, GOOD. I HAD ACTUALLY FORGOTTEN HOW MANY HITS HE HAD.
ALSO, RAN ACROSS MY GOOD FRIEND DAMON HARRIS AT THE SHOW. ALWAYS GOOD TO SEE HIM.
SEAIN, SORRY, I DIDN'T GET ANY PICTURES AT THE SHOW. I PURPOSELY LEFT MY CAMERA BACK AT THE HOTEL BECAUSE I KNOW THE STRICT POLICIES OF CONSTITUION HALL.
I HAD A LOT OF FRIENDS AT THIS SHOW--HOWEVER, GETTING THEM TO COME TO THE BOARD TO POST IS PROBABLY OUT OF THE QUESTION--BUT IM SURE DEFAN WILL FILL IN THE BLANKS.

Hi Everybody: I have to post under guest because my login is not working right, so here's my review: I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Review Concert on Friday Night at Constitutional Hall in DC. It was a really nice concert hall type setting. Lots and lots of people present to see the line-up which consisted of Millie Jackson, Bobby Womack and the Temptations Review. I got there just in time see Millie Jackson do her last number. The crowd was really receptive to her and they seemed to be really warmed up for a good rest of the show. Bobby Womack performed 2nd. I’ve never seen him perform before so I didn’t know what to expect, but he was very good. He put on a very enjoyable show. I loved “A Woman’s Got Have It”. Just don’t here songs like that much anymore……….. The Temptation Review performed last. And let me preface this by saying that I most definitely agree with EIZZIE, they were superb for the entire show. When they came out they were wearing red suits, with gold beadwork, gold shirts underneath, red shoes, alligator/lizard, I’m not sure. I was kind of taken aback, because the suits were so sharp, guys looked sooooo good and they were genuinely all smiles, looked like they were very happy to be in DC performing. Not only did they look good, they sounded even better. The show was different than usually, they made quite a few changes so, I can’t remember the exact order of songs. They still started with Standing on the Top, I love when David Sea does his part on this song, he takes it and the crowd to a higher level. So this song got the crowd really pumped, the ladies were goin’ crazy as always, that includes me too!!! My favorite part of the show was, no doubt, when Dennis sang “Don’t Look Any Further”. OMG, I just love that song and I have never heard him perform it before. It was close to the end of the show, so the crowd was already enjoying themselves, but this got everybody up on their feet singing and dancing. This along with Poppa was kind of the only real solo that he did, but it was just fabulous. Dennis is something else, um-um-um, guys you just gotta hear him perform this song, it’s timeless. These guys seem to really work hard in keeping the Temptations legend alive, and they have conviction and it’s obvious that they truly believe in what they do. Chris Arnold blew me away when he sang “You’re My Everything”. He sings it so beautifully, just kind of leaves you wanting more, and his “Why You Wanna Make Me Blue” is also a favorite of mine, just a real sweet song. Bernard Gibson is truly a great singer. He really shines on all of his solos… “Don’t Look Back”, “My Baby”, “Just My Imagination”. He really is the stable mainstay/centerpiece for the group. Mike Patillo did a amazing job once again singing “Rainy Nite in Georgia”, every time I see him sing this song he does a better job than the last, if that’s possible, it’s always so good, no matter what venue or concert setting. For David Sea’s performance I really liked “Wish It Would Rain”, it always brings down the house when he shows off that beautiful voice of his, but, my favorite song from the concert is hands down…. Beauty is Only Skin Deep…. I love the way he is so DR like when he sings it and the group performs the background excellently. They had a great rapport with the audience Friday. Like I said earlier, it was just a fabulous show. Oh, I can’t forget the band, they were fantastic too! This was also one of the most efficient concerts I have ever seen. There couldn’t have been more that 15 minutes between each performer. The show started at 8 pm and it was done by 10:30 pm for all of the performers. They did not mess around. I had a great time meeting EIZZIE, it was just too fun, girl, you see how long it took me to get my head together to recover and write about this………. Can’t wait til next time…………

I KNOW THIS FOR SURE BECAUSE WE WERE TRYING TO MAKE A BEELINE BACK TO THE HOTEL TO HIT THE LOUNGE BEFORE IT CLOSED AT MIDNIGHT. ;D. I guess I need to go back to basic math, huh! 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm don't even make any since. I guess its the Chicago in me that I can't let go. Oh and yea, we can't forget about the loungin' either, that totally fogged me up for 2 days.

Wow! Thanks for the great reviews, ladies! I'm glad to hear that Dennis decided to add 'Don't Look Any Further' as part of the set. I'm wondering if Dennis would consider to sing 'You're My Aprodasic(sp?)' as well? We don't get to hear either song very often. It sounds like the show was wonderful & I'm glad you ladies had a great time!
