Here's Eizzie's review of the concert in Louisville KY this past weekend:
I WENT TO THE LOUISVILLE CONCERT LAST FRIDAY. TO SAY IT WAS GOOD WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT--OUR BOYS WERE FANTASTIC! THEY WERE SOUNDING GOOD AND LOOKING GOOD! IT WAS AT A REALLY NICE SETTING ON THE WATERFRONT. THEY DID ABOUT 90 MINUTES. I TOLD YOU THAT MY FAVORITE SONG WAS "A SONG FOR YOU". WELL DENNIS SANG THAT AND THIS TIME ROLLED IT RIGHT INTO "MEMORIES". I TELL YOU I WAS IN HEAVEN. THEY REALLY SHOWED OUT. EVERYONE WAS MADE AWARE THAT ALL THE GUYS HAD THEIR OWN SPECIAL TALENT. AS DENNIS INTRODUCED THEM-THEY ALL CAME ONE BY ONE TO THE MIKE--AND SANG AN ABBREVIATED VERSION OF A SONG THAT FIT THEIR VOCAL RANG. IT WAS AWESOME TO SEE ALL THAT TALENT IN ONE GROUP. THEY WORE DIFFERENT COLOR SUITS WITH OF COURSE SHOES TO MATCH. DENNIS WORE RED, DAVID WORE HOT PINK, BERNARD WORE ANOTHER SHADE OF PINK, MIKE WORE BRIGHT YELLOW AND CHRIS WORE A DIFFERENT SHADE OF YELLOW. WHEN DENNIS SANG "GOD BLESS AMERICA" YOU COULD SEE THAT THE CROWD WAS REALLY MOVED. IT WAS A GREAT SHOW. THE EMOTIONS CAME ON BEFORE THEM AND THEY WERE VERY GOOD ALSO. THE SHOW WAS DEFINATLEY WORTH THE TRIP TO LOUISVILLE. I DID GET A CHANCE TO GO BACK AND SAY HELLO AFTER THE SHOW--AND ALL THE GUYS WERE EXTREMELY NICE. BERNARD SAID HE HAD A SORE THROAT--BUT YOU NEVER WOULD HAVE KNOWN IT TO HEAR HIM BELT OUT THOSE SONGS. I DON'T THINK I COULD EVER GET TIRED OF WATCHING THEM PERFORM--I COULD SIT THRU AT LEAST A DOZEN SHOWS STRAIGHT AND STILL BE UPSET WHEN THE SHOW ENDED ( THEY ARE TRULY A CROWD PLEASER.)

Hey eizzie! I sort of moved your topic to create another thread. And yes, I'm hatin! I really wished I could have seen that show. I feel like you do...when the show is over, I get pissed! I could watch them perform forever! When Dennis introduced the guys, did Chris sing Can I? What did David C sing? I didn't know the Emotions were touring. I would loved to have seen them perform. They are a great group of talented ladies. At one time they were supposed to have been on the road doing a play about their lives. I wonder what happened to this venture.

Hello Capricorn Princess Yes Chris did do "CAN I " and did a beautiful job on it. Don't be mad at me but I cannot remember the name of the song David did--I remember that it wasn't one of their more popular ones. But what did shock me was that David did NOT do "I Wish It Would Rain". That did dissapoint me because he can tear the house down on that one. It might have been a time factor why he didn't do it because they were on for a little over 90 minutes so maybe something had to be cut out. If you have any inside connection--maybe you could suggest that David always should do that song--my lawd--that man can certainly blow on that song. It's been 3 days now since I saw the show and I still can't stop thinking about how good they were. I've been telling everybody all day about the show. I just want everyone to get a chance to see for themselves how good they are so they can appreciate them like we do. By the way, have you seen the show recently? Im already looking at the schedule trying to see where I can go next.

Count me in as hater #2! ;D If I known better, I would've took my arse to see Dennis nem when they were here in NY. Shoot! My work hours totally screwed up things for me, so I couldn't go plus it was out there on the other end of the borough. Anyway, Eizzie, you sounded like you had a blast! Doesn't Dennis' show stay on your mind? My mom & I went together & she couldn't stop talking about it!! She went on and on about how great Dennis sounded! Ah, Dennis sung "A Song for You" & "Memories". Now that's a real treat! I see they've gone the multi-colored suit route. I really prefer them in solids. When I saw them, I think they wore off white shirts with lite blue pants. I think! LOL! I wish I had a camcorder then to record it. Oh well! I will make it a mission to see Dennis. Didja say that David was in hot pink?? Okay, calm down Cap! LOL!! You know that's her man! LOL!

Hey Seain, I understand how your mom couldn't stop talking about how good Dennis can sing because I can't stop talking about it either. This is the fourth day I've been talking about it. One of my best friends finally told me today to shut up because she was tired of hearing it. (maybe she ain't my best friend after all). That's why I love this board because all of you guys understand what Im talking about and share the same sentiments. BTW, let me straighten something up-- because maybe I was not clear--the guys didn't wear multi-color suits. They wore solid colored suits that were made the exact same but each one had on a different SOLID color ----i.e Dennis wore red with red shoes, Mike wore yellow with yellow shoes and YES DAVID WORE HOT PINK WITH HOT PINK SHOES! Do you think we need to send the paramedics for Capricorn Princess? ;D Can't say I blame her--the brother was looking good and about as cool as a cucumber. Has she personally met him yet? If not, she better start hitting some shows soon because he had a lot of women in the audience screaming. Could have been just all that good singing but I doubt it. I can understand the gurl, because i still find Dennis incredibly sexy. BTW, does anybody even know the status on these gentlemen--are they married, single, engaged, divorced, widowed? Whats the Deal? You know even when you get the opportunity to meet them--that's just not an appropiate question to come out and ask. But for sure--inquiry minds want to know. Ezzie

Aw sookie sookie now! Baby had that hot pink On??? It looks more fuschia to me. The paramedics wouldn't have been able to do a thing for me. Only the SEAman himself could revive me! I would probably come to and look at him again and pass right out all over again! :-* They all get to me! whichever one is doing his thing at the time, he's my Bay-beh! Seain...please don't tell Jimmy Lee I'm fawning over these guys...you know he's extremely jealous! But I have to admit I have a weakness for Choc-o-latte! Yep, everyone of them is married...so much for that! I doubt if I could be married to one of them...too much goes along with them that I just couldn't deal with...one being women like me...always hittin on someone else's man! ;D But seriously, an entertainer has a very difficult life and it takes a very strong woman to deal with their lifestyle. My temper is toooo bad...plus I like my Bay-beh at home with me at night. Shoot! I could not sleep :( knowing he was not there beside me!

Capricorn Princess. Gurl, you are funny. I needed a good laugh because I had a really rough day. Somehow, I think you under estimate yourself--I believe you could deal with an entertainer just fine--especially if it were the SEAman--but oh well, I guess it ain't no need to have that fantasy if he's already married. DAMN . You sure know how to bust a already depressed woman's bubble telling me they are ALL married. Just kidding, Im happy for all of them. That's what probably keeping them stable and successful. If they ,weren't married and had women like you and me after them they be liable to start missing shows ;D. BTW, I believe you're right--the suit was a little on the pinkish purple side--i guess that makes it fushia. I never claimed to know colors that well. You sho know what your man be wearing. I see you are still being the night crawler like me--hope you don't have to get up early in the morning. Im a glutton for punishment--i cuss the alarm clock out every morning because I'm dead tried. I guess I'll put my boys CD on a try to drift off to sleep. Ezzie
